Registered Behavior Technician (Rbt V)

• Observe, record, and analyze data related to client behavior and responses using time sampling, partial and whole interval recording, antecedent-behavior-consequence (ABC), and daily session notes• Maintain progress notes on clients and submit billing, insurance, incident report forms, and other required documents in a timely manner• Conduct one on one therapy sessions with children ages 2 to 8 and track individual progress• Communicate confidentially and professionally with parents, supervisors, behavior analysts, and other members of a client's team as needed• Promote the development of effective and functional communication skills for both verbal and non-verbal clients• Utilize a variety of empirically based practices including Naturalistic teaching, Discrete trial training (DTT), Pivotal Response Training (PRT), interview-informed synthesized contingency analysis (IISCA) and Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS)• Apply deescalation techniques to diffuse behavioral outbursts of clients, implement schedules of reinforcement, and incorporate token economies to decrease maladaptive behaviors and increase desired behaviors• Display cultural competence and sensitivity to the diverse cultural and linguistic needs of clients and families• Train and model to new and current therapist and RBTs how to run and implement programs and protocols during session
