Working with individuals how have been resentenced, provide reentry navigation by assisting individuals in completing Individual Reentry Plans, Essential Needs Checklist, coordinating Reentry Team Meetings, providing transfer day support as needed, and providing resource navigation for individuals after release or transfer to the community. Reentry navigation services include connecting appropriate resources and support systems based upon the individual’s risk, needs, and reentry goals and objectives.Support the work of incarcerated individuals in developing Individual Reentry Plans to address the needs of the individuals including education, employment, substance abuse treatment, mental health treatment, family reunification, and other areas which are needed to facilitate a successful reintegration into the community. This duty serves to meet Governor Inslee’s initiated Results Washington outcome measures to reduce recidivism, increase post-release employment and decrease homelessness.Other duties as assigned to support the Reentry Division purpose to provide targeted opportunities and pathways supporting individuals into our communities and engage with community partenrs to ensure justice involved individuals have the support and resources needed to transition into their communities safely and successfully.

Quality Assurance Uses process improvement to facilitate the collection and analysis of information to assist management identify and plan business process changes for short and long-term strategic goals.Develops and delivers business processes and procedures training to ensure staff complies with operational requirements.Assist with the development and tracking of performance measures for community contracts.Consult with executives, managers, and other staff to provide analysis, recommendations, and evaluation of performance and/or programs.Makes recommendations regarding highly complex, unprecedented issues involving organizational change, process improvement, policy development; or issues involving a broad scope and significant impact on outside agencies, institutions, organizations, statewide, and public. Develop a rigorous methodology for effective tracking of performance outcomes that allows for accurate and timely reporting of performance outcomes.ReportsProvide reoccurring data reports identifying trends, patterns, anomalies, and uses findings to develop and communicate strategies for improving processes and practices. Aid in preparation and consolidation of data for mandatory annual and quarterly reporting. Provide eligibility lists for Reentry programs, referrals to release programs, and tracking progress and completion through Offender Management Network Information (OMNI) programs.

* Utilizing a teaching philosophy based upon Reggio/Waldorf influences, my responsibilities include creating a safe environment for preschool aged children and introducing developmental concepts which will help build healthy brain development and confidence in learning. * Create a safe and inviting space for families and caregivers to feel included in their child's learning and development. * Work with children in groups or one on one, depending on the needs of children and the subject matter* Plan and carry out a curriculum that targets different areas of child development, such as language, motor, and social skills, art, meditation, etc.* Organize activities so children can explore their world, interests, and develop their own talents.* Develop schedules and routines to ensure children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime* Watch for signs of emotional or developmental progress in children and bring problems to the attention of parents/specialists* Keep records of the students’ progress, routines, and interests, and work alongside parents regarding their child’s development* Conduct an after school Spanish class, consisting of games, art and music.

• Act as a liaison between patient and Medical/Nursing Administration, and facilitate in interpreting policies, procedures, and services. I am successful in communicating and in obtaining solutions to problems and concerns, in order to assist patients in navigating the healthcare system. I also conduct family meetings with Physician/Nursing leadership when needed. • Process grievance and complaints through our active database, and work with Medical/Nursing/Hospital administrators of all executive levels, to investigate direct inquiries and complaints; I follow up on complaint/grievances to ensure resolution is satisfactory, and if necessary, refer patients to appropriate services and resources. • I work with Quality Management/Risk Management/HIPPA/Performance Improvement teams, to ensure hospital procedures have been followed; In addition, I helped implement different programs and initiative brought forth by these departments; Also served as a trainer for new employees • I actively participate in professional growth and development programs, and review current literature, attend in service meetings and workshops that enhance the patient advocacy role. In addition, I serve as a trainer for new employees within the department. • Coordination of study aspects under supervision of the Principal Investigator, (PI); Recruitment, screening, and consenting patients for participation in ongoing research studies. I also assisted in the administration and scoring of assessments using questionnaires; introduced training programs that enhanced employee performance and helped build a motivated workforce. • Data management (creating data bases, data entry, verification, specifically using SPSS); Assistance with general administrative tasks, including ordering and organizing study materials and coordinating study activities; I participated in weekly team meetings with study coordinator, study PIs, and co-investigators.
