Battery Management Systems (BMS)Ensure that the Program Purchasing Targets in the dimensions of “Cost”, “Time” and “Quality” are being achieved or overachieved during series production phaseApplying the Hella-values, standards, processes, methods and tools in the field of Program Purchasing and into pre-series and series.Minimize of the total costs (Total Cost of Ownership) during series phase.Maintain and negotiation of project specific follow-up supplier agreements, including LOIs, Nomination Letters, Capacity agreements and Tooling annex.Support the identification and achievement of cost potentials resulting from Re-Design-to-Cost (ReDtC) activities. Involved in the transfer of responsibility from Program Purchasing to Segment Purchasing after released Production Parts Approval Process (PPAP).Implementation of Purchasing and Material Group StrategiesAct as first contact window for suppliers within series production.Provide relevant information to material group management and program purchasing in order to derive appropriate actions. Escalation to Material Group Management or Program Purchasing management according to valid escalation concept.

Full responsible for the cost of material BOM for specific projects;Purchasing representative in Project team from acquisition phase until SOP (G20-G80) and interface to Category Management and Suppliers;Ensure early involvement of purchasing and suppliers;Ensures sourcing in time and under target;Project support for suppliers and sourcing related topics like quotations, organization of SCRs and BOM calculations including tooling;Support technical change process until SOP;Follow-up on supplier and material status during product development phase: RFQs, in-time sourcing, continuous feedback of APQP/PPAP status from SQM;Offers support for second/multiple source to secure permanent supplies with competitive terms;Secure target BOM costs and actively start countermeasures in case of risk identification;Drive for Cost Reduction Programs (CRP) and Re-design to cost activities during development phase;Support project team in developing initial concept, BOM improvement and optimization of technologies and supplier base;
