I have 20 years IT experience, in both a technical and management role. I have worked in IT operations management and support roles before moving into IT consulting, where I have developed technology architectures as part of enterprise architecture engagements at both private and public sector entities. I have also performed various IT assessments, remediation implementation planning and management, and monitoring system implementations. The scope of my engagements has covered all infrastructure components ranging from servers, storage, operating systems, virtual and cloud environments, to networks. I have experience with various reference architectures from Dell, Lenovo, HP and other technology suppliers. I am passionate about system, application, and environmental monitoring, and gained many years’ experience in the utilisation of monitoring systems and tools to identify infrastructure problem areas and develop management and executive level reporting dashboards to measure, track and resolve IT issues, and manage demand requirements. Managing IT support teams to enable efficient and proactive support with streamlined processes using frameworks like ITIL is one of my passions, enabling customer and operational excellence.
