Marius has worked in the IT industry since 2007. He started in TietoEVRY (ErgoGroup, EVRY with more names) as a system administrator of IT platforms and services, then as a solution architect in the same company and from 2020 in Buypass as DevOps Engineer.During the first 10 years of TietoEVRY, much of the foundation was laid through a broad portfolio where most of the time was spent on operating systems, virtualization, storage, databases, load balancers, networks and middleware / application.In 2017, Marius got a new role in TietoEVRY, where he worked as a solution architect and consultant in the same field. In addition, there was cloud advisory and solutions.At Buypass, Marius intensified his work on Docker, Kubernetes and cloud solutions (operations/ automation/ security / development). Marius works actively to promote the use of cloud solutions, DevOps culture and Kubernetes in Buypass. As part of a team of 3, Marius has led the job of building Kubernetes using Rancher, onprem in Buypass' own Data Centers. Marius is also working to make Kubernetes available in the public cloud.Marius has a broad experience with implementation and design of new solutions, technology implementation, operational tasks and consulting at a general and detailed level. The focus has been on having a broad competence profile on many platforms, at security, networks and different services. They’re made him both a good IT consultant and a team player.Marius has strong expertise in the areas of: Linux (Redhat, Ubuntu / Debian, Suse), Unix (AIX, HP-UX, Solaris), IBMi (formerly iSeries / AS400) and Windows Server where he assists with the development of automation and best practices. He also has extensive experience with monitoring, backup and operation of databases such as MySQL, Oracle, Sybase, DB2 and MSSQL. Worked with many commercial partners / suppliers and towards open-source communities.Marius' competence and breadth has come because he has a strong self-interest in the subject, a positive approach to problem solving and is generally interested in working towards a common goal.
