In the transition (previous company being bought) I worked on learning the new environment where the relevant parts of our old project had to be added to. I had to analyze multiple sub projects in order to understand how they are connected and how we could add our own connection. This process proved to be very useful because I have taken advantage of that information ever since, information that only a few in the company had the chance to acquire. My first project revolved around adding a new product in the system. I worked with C++ for our middleware (connecting the physical devices to the rest of the interfaces), but also with Typescript/Angular for our WebClient interface and Java for one of our robot integration projects (Universal Robots). This task gave me the opportunity to greatly expand my software knowledge and I learned a lot about how to better keep track of my tasks and how to work efficiently.After this I would continue working only on the Java project for different products. Plus a few rare tasks for the other areas.

I started with writing software for the computer board that controlled the Ragnar robot. Later, most of the time was spent developing a plugin that would be used with a simulation program (a custom version of V-REP) which could control a real system with multiple robots. A major selling point was that the whole system could be tested by running everything in a simulated mode which closely replicated how the real system would work.Part of the time was also spent setting up various demos and customer projects, but also many of the tests required a (close to) real setup.All coding was done using C++. I worked in a team with 2-5 people and we used git to keep track of our projects.

Aalborg

Implementation of Modular Multilevel Converters (MMC) on a System on a Chip (SoC) platform. The process consisted of, firstly, having a Matlab/Simulink+PLECS model (both plant and control) which, after validation, was implemented on the SoC, some functions of the MMC on the FPGA and some on the CPU.
