Managed and led the Institute’s Mayors’ Education Policy Advisors Network, a national network that facilitates communication among senior municipal staff who are working with mayors on key issues related to education reform and school improvement. • Planned comprehensive annual event for the Institute for Youth Education and Families’ Mayors’ Education Policy Advisors Network (EPAN) including securing site, recruiting speakers, providing accommodations, coordinating caterers, and budget management• Created the annual convening as a collaborative event for EPAN members as well as federal, state, and local experts to discuss education reform and achieve greater access to best practices across education policy issues • Directed the Association for High School Innovation program, previously Alternative High School Initiative (AHSI), funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, resulting in the development of essential policy conditions, which led to the creation and launch of AHSI place-based partnerships in three cities
