I began my training as a student employee during my attendance to South Puget Sound Community College in pursuit of my Transfer Degrees in Science Track I and Science Track II. I received two promotions during my employment with SPSCC. I was promoted to part-time 69-hour employee from student employee and then to full time. Additional training included Microbiology course and Understudy Research course to enhance and expand abilities and responsibilities. My duties included but was not limited to; all tasks required for classroom laboratory setup, stock room and storage maintenance, handling reagents and microorganisms, and microbiological techniques. My responsibilities also included adherence to all safety procedures and upkeep of equipment, this included monitoring an industrial autoclave for sterilization and incubator for microorganism growth and storage.

Responsibilities included all supportive administrative duties, including drafting legal correspondence, answering phones, greeting visitors and communicating with attorneys, clients and court personnel in a professional and discretional manner.
