Over 23 years policing with a major Canadian Police Service, as a Constable and Sergeant/Detective I focused on patrol, criminal investigations, covert surveillance, and confidential informant management and witness protection. I have worked in and led small covert investigative and surveillance teams, specialized units, and large patrol teams.From January 2019 - January 2022 I was a Detective on the Anti Corruption Team, investigating corruption and compromise in Law Enforcement, Government, Justice and Political settings. I was selected as one of two Staff Sergeants to create and lead the Investigative Response Teams for the 2023 World Petroleum Congress, working with internal and external partners.Promoted to S/Sgt. in 2022 I led a District Investigative team, comprised of Detectives, Constables, and a Covert surveillance/Investigative team.I now lead a joint forces team comprised of 30 members from 7 different agencies covering all of Southern Alberta tackling Internet Child Exploitation, Internet Luring and Sextortion.
