In Dec 2017, Delphi split into two companies, Aptiv and Delphi Technologies:Directed the commercial finance and planning activities of five NA customer business units (Fiat Chrysler, Daimler, Commercial Vehicles (including Hybrid), Silicon Valley and Ford thru 2015) within the Electrical Distribution Systems business unit. Provided financial management for over $1 billion annual revenue of vehicle electrical wiring systems shipping from over ten manufacturing locations across Mexico.Scope included leading all business unit new quoting activity, business case, cash flow and appropriation request development, project review and approvals, steering programs financials through engineering development phases to launch and while in production, engineering changes (VA/VE), model changes, customer price models and negotiations, market pricing, product costing, technical accounting, commercial claims, operations analysis, budgeting, forecasting (including revenue) and month-end close support.Selected accomplishments:• Simultaneously supported the competing interests of five customer business units commercial finance needs with accurate, timely and relevant business intelligence and decision support.• Supported business unit's revenue growth from $0.7 billion (2011) to $1.4 billion (2018).• Finance lead for all new quotes that resulted in over $10 billion profitable new business awards.• Assisted transformation of several business units from loss position to double-digit profits.• Identified and recovered $5 million in content adds and $4 million in F/X escalation not being charged to customers.

Managed the commercial finance and FP&A activities for Delphi Aftermarket's NA region, a newly created division within Delphi. Provided financial management to two start-up business units in the region: the automotive aftermarket which was grown to over $200+ million annual revenue and consumer electronics business that was developed into over $250+ million annual revenue.Scope included financial oversight for all business unit new quoting activity, business cases, contracts, market price review, discounts, rebates, marketing programs, promotions, product launches, negotiations, product costing, technical accounting, commercial claims, operations analysis, budgeting, forecasting and month-end close support.Selected accomplishments:• Supported the commercial team in all activities that led to the launch and subsequent growth of the Delphi brand into $200+ million profitable NA business. Partnered with commercial teams to secure major distribution contracts with NAPA, CARQUEST, AutoZone, O’Reilly Auto Parts and other distributors and retailers.• Led all commercial finance activity for start-up consumer electronics business unit within NA that grew to $250+ million in profitable Delphi XM satellite radio and GPS navigation product lines. Led the financial evaluation for all new product launches (e.g. SKYFi, MyFi, Roady, GPS Navigation), distribution agreements, business cases, pricing, promotions and price protection impacts.• Led cross-functional profit improvement initiative for region's largest customer resulting in gross margin increasing from 38% to 48%.• Created, designed and implemented customer and product line profitability reporting that led to significant product line rationalization, structural cost savings ($5 million) and inventory reductions ($4 million).• Implemented and enhanced aftermarket specific internal controls, policies, business processes and reporting to newly created business units.

Managed the FP&A activities for newly created aftermarket division within Delphi. Coordinated with global regions the consolidation of monthly divisional actuals, forecasts and led the Budget & Business Plan process. Improved the financial valuation model for European acquisition, supported the due diligence process, coordinated the integration of acquired company financials and the recording of purchase accounting entries. Supported the NA business team with all commercial finance activities.

Directed the commercial finance and FP&A activities for $100M revenue, 7 warehouse operation including budgeting, forecasting and actual results, new business/price quotes, internal financial reporting and financial analyses for business unit that provided replacement automotive parts and services to the Canadian aftermarket • Created and implemented customer profitability reporting and held reviews leading to corrective actions • Delivered the financial analysis for new Sales & Marketing program that resulted in the closure of most warehouses in Canada with $2M annual cost and inventory savings
