Manage the quality engineering group for the full rate production of the AARGM missile at the Strike Weapons site of ATK in Northridge.

Manage all mission assurance activity for the Strike Weapons site of the ATK Defense Group. Provide leadership for the quality inspection team, quality engineering team, and supply chain quality team. Provide support to the AARGM and MSST programs at Northridge and Ridgecrest.

As the Senior Quality Engineer for Supply Chain for the Defense Electronic Division of the Defense Group of ATK, I executed improvements in the critical supply processes that support the AARGM program. I successfully lead the quality effort to demonstrate to the DOD our readiness to transition to Full Rate Production on the AARGM Program that lead to a major contract award. I successfully lead the AS9100C upgrade certification effort for the main site as well as a satalite location.

As a Senior Quality Engineer for the Antennas and Payloads business area, I was directly responsible for project mission assurance and participated in quality system maintenance. Projects included BQM-74 aerial targets, RQ-4 Global Hawk Radomes, THAAD Missile, AGM-88 AARGM Missile, Reflectors for Intelsat 10-01 and 10-02, GEI, SES Americom, Astrium, and DQR for all Lockheed Martin A-2100 spacecraft programs; 20 reflectors, 3 towers, 1 bus structure, 3 solar arrays, 3 booms, and a number of stable space structures. Several ATK customers have acknowledged my expertise and trusted me hold Designated Quality Representative status and accept product on their behalf. I moved to ATK Aerospace Structures division’s RF Technology and Test Site - Rancho Bernardo in 2006 as Senior Mission Assurance Representative where I was tasked and successfully completed establishment and site registration of the Quality Management System to AS9100 while supporting direct project quality engineering for all of the range projects. Projects included, GPS II-F Antennas and numerous classified projects.During my time at ATK, I received six awards for extrordinary performance that included project management and mechanical engineering portions of a build to print project.

As Operations Manager, I was responsible for the stratigic direction of the company, business development, resource management, materials and process development, customer relations, and overall business success. Symcoat started life as a dedicated plating shop for its parent company that went out of business. I worked to document standardize processes and reduce variability then realligned those process to meet industry standards so the business could offer aerospace coatings to local businesses.

Dimensional Inspection Laboratories provided precision measurement services to several industries local to San Diego. As the site manager at DIL, I was responsible to generate new local business and maintain the lab site in San Diego. I provided dimensional metrology services and consulting as well as CMM programming services to local businesses.

Provided consulting and training to manufacturing industries on hazardous waste management. Leveraged my knowledge of manufacturing pracitces and developed plans for businesses to reduce their waste streams while promoting responsible recycling alternatives. Provided employee training in hazardous communication and injury and illness prevention.

Furno Company is a small, highly specilized company providing high-precision micro-components to the nuclear and aerospace industries. As Quality Manager, I developed the required resources to maintain the Mil-I-45208 quality system and customer approvals in support of operations.

Newport Machine was a privately owned and operated contract job shop servicing the aerospace industry. Hired straight out of machinest trade school as a machinest, after demonstrating aptitude, I was quickly promoted to CNC Programmer, then to Quality Manager, then General Manager.
