Profile bio

About Mark Anthony M.

The main theme running through my more than three decades of work experience has been that of growing organizations: defining their goals and enhancing their capacities to achieve them. During the last ten years, I have focused on emergency preparedness and response, giving special attention on systems by which sub-national, national and most recently regional coordination mechanisms can enhance their capacities to respond to natural and human-made emergencies and to deliver adequate protection and assistance to the affected population through to their recovery. Among the most critical systems that I have zeroed in on are information systems that profile vulnerable families, anticipate and monitor their needs and conditions should emergencies occur and track the assistance given to them. These systems are invaluable in guiding planning and in mobilizing resources for prevention, preparedness, response and recovery activities.

Listed skills include Program Management, Research, Training, Strategy, and 22 others.
