The PNG Disaster Management Team is co-chaired by the United Nations Resident Coordinator and the Director of the National Disaster Centre. It comprises UN agencies, non-governmental and faith-based organizations, and development partners and serves as the highest body in PNG for the coordination of international humanitarian assistance for emergencies and crises in PNG.The International Information Management Officer will gather, organize, share and use data and information, and develop and manage tools, templates, and protocols for sharing and visualizing information to inform decision-making to improve the effectiveness of cooperation, coordination, communication and collaboration in humanitarian contexts. The I-IMO will also train and build the capacity of a national Information Management Officer.

1. Coordinate, organize and facilitate Consultation Forums with partners to review and enhance CCCM, Shelter and Displacement Tracking programs to make them more responsive to the needs of disaster-affected populations.2. Coordinate and conduct training needs assessment; develop CCCM, Shelter and DTM training modules and manuals appropriate to the local context in support of the Capacity Development Consultant.3. Liaise and coordinate with key partners for the planning and organizing of CCCM, Shelter and DTM ToTs and cascading trainings at the regional, provincial, municipal levels.4. Conduct CCCM, Shelter and DTM ToTs and cascading trainings at the regional, provincial and municipal levels, ensuring that pre-training and post-training tests are undertaken to evaluate the impact of the trainings on the participants.5. Oversee the development and maintenance of National, Regional and Provincial Roster of trained personnel from partners who can be deployed for emergency response focusing on CCCM, Shelter and Displacement Tracking.6. Liaise with relevant IOM units at the Regional Office and Headquarters to ensure that the training program is continually updated with the international standards, best practices and operational experiences.7. Prepare and submit a report for every training undertaken ensuring that the results are in accordance with project objectives and deliverables.8. Coordinate with the Information Management and Communications team for the development and circulation of sitreps and milestones through social media accounts and websites.9. Coordinate donor monitoring visits at the national and field offices10. Guide, train and supervise the work of project assistants.

1. Setup and manage the overall Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) Programme in Fiji2. Supervise and manage the activities and the development of a country wide strategy of the data management and other relevant operations.3. Establish and supervise field assessment with multi-layered data collection techniques to gather timely information about displacement, population mobility, movement flows, and any other source of data required.4. Responsible for the production of all the required reports and information products on DTM, including, but not limited to, the analytical and statistical reports, displacement profiles, maps and other relevant products.5. Develop, manage, implement, fund-raise for and report on DTM-related projects and programmes. 6. Regularly monitor, propose, and implement all necessary modifications in compliance of the information management systems and infrastructure as per IOM IT policies, standards and best practice for high performance, reliability and information security.7. Manage programme staff, prepare and organize training for staff on project activities on a regular basis.8. Develop and conduct training to relevant stakeholders as required for the implementation of programme activities.9. Implement information dissemination tools and operational frameworks for data collection and sharing among key stakeholders.10. Liaise and represent IOM at meetings and events where these programmes are being discussed.
