Employed as HES Advisor for the client over seeing a team of HES Field specialist and together have achieved a outstanding 10million man-hours, without a lost time incident. Duties include but not limited to supervision of HES team, managing work area schedules, rotation schedules also attending management meeting on a daily basis and chairing weekly HES staff meetings. Promoting Incident & Injury Free program (IIF) on a daily basisChairman of the Behavioural Based Safety committee (BBS) chairing meetings and reporting specific data to IIF site leadership team on a monthly basis.

Cabinda Gas Plant – Angola - West Africa

Employed for construction and commissioning phases as one of the HES Field Specialist for client overseeing and working alongside contractor HES Team. Together managing the safety of a multi – cultural work force, promoting Incident & Injury Free program (IIF) on a daily basis. Committed to ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with the Project Permit to Work procedure and Clients Standard Operating Procedures. Attending contractor’s tool box talks every morning and adding value to these safety discussions as and when required.Reviewing Job Safety Analysis sheets on a daily basis and assisting with hazard identification and proper mitigation measures for each task.

I joined this project during the topsides integration phase in the fabrication yard as HSE Advisor continuing into the offshore Hook Up and Commissioning phase. Main duties include: On-the-Job coaching of supervision for a multi – cultural workforce (UK, USA, Nigerian, Filipino, Australian etc.). Provided training in Risk Assessment and safety Intervention. Assisting with the definition of the project best practices from the various national practices of the organisation. Also carried out Induction training, TRIC Card training, site inspections, accident/incident investigation reports, safety audits, and HAZID/HAZOP. From this project I gained Offshore Survival, Offshore experience and International experience.
