- Quarry Manager.- Currently Acting Production Superintendent – Position in charge of 6Production teams – 6 supervisors and 115 personnel.• Lead risk assessment teams and implementing associated actions/controls to reduce risks within the open pit areas as MLARP.• Lead investigator in various level incident investigations and producing actions to prevent the occurrence of related incidents.• Daily conduit between Mine planning team and Mine operationssupervisors and crews.• Annual department operating budgeting.• Capital expenditure applications and justification.• Project management of approved capital projects (200-500k value).• Lead the onboarding and project Management of 65 short term truckdriver contractors in late 2013 till mid 2014.• Lead a Lean Six Sigma dig unit productivity and utilisation project which lifted EUoA from 75 to 83%• Member of the management team who helped implement theAutonomous Haulage System (AHS) at HD4.• Overseas AHS “best practice visits” to Chile and USA to benchmarkHD4’s AHS ramp up and identify improvement areas.• Lead continuous improvement project regarding AHS truck cycle timesand other AHS related improvements.• Project leader of Rio Tinto Iron Ore High Value Initiative (HVI) “TruckRight sizing” at HD4 which has delivered 1.1 million in savings in 2014 YTD.
