My role ranges from negotiation at C-suite level with energy incumbents and fiduciaries, to articulating relevant aspects of the Follow This experience in the Netherlands to media and the investment community in other jurisdictions. Translating this strategy to the capital markets has brought new clarity, transparency and strengthened the case for science-based targets in the energy transition from fossil fuels. In September 2020, Follow This criteria for binding emissions targets were endorsed by the Climate Action 100+ alliance of investors in the world's most polluting companies, with assets under management of more than $50 trillion. During the 2021 AGM season, Follow This resolutions for disclosure on Scope 3 product emissions by US oil majors secured majority ballots at Chevron, Conoco Phillips and Phillips66.
