My primary responsibility is to train, mentor and coach all production operators in the control room, field, lab/quality and mobile equipment. I am responsible for kiln management which includes process/production/quality/optimization/reliability of kiln, kiln cooler, coal system(s) (direct/indirect firing systems).• My other responsibilities include; alternate fuels, CKD management, refractory repair, ball mill optimization, shared production department supervision, ball mill volume loading / grinding media management, overhead crane training / Provincial license renewals, LUCIE (intelligent automated) control system for mills / kiln champion, PPW (plant performance web) champion and project management.• Co-Chairperson of the Brookfield Plant Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee (JOHSC).

My primary responsibility as a control room operator in which I was in care and control of most of the plant operations using control systems like PLC, DCS, LUCIE, IP21. I filled in as the Shift Coordinator production team leader (union) who was responsible for plant operations during off hours.• As a control room operator I was able to suggest several operational control system safe guards that were eventually implemented to improve equipment reliability.• My responsibilities as a field operator included; equipment inspections, material handling, operating mobile equipment, overhead crane operations, troubleshooting, ensuring continuous production and preventative maintenance.• I was also a lab/quality operator and the functions included; quality control sampling on a structured schedule for all processes, process adjustments on all equipment and troubleshooting quality.• Refractory Installation
