Successfully developed a CNC milling process intended to replace the current process utilized to manufacture the core of our custom foot orthotics. Successfully developed the process required to design the orthotics using Pro\Engineer's Reverse Engineering module along with the utilization of the data points from our current process. Successfully researched and procured a CNC Mill capable of machining the foot orthotics at a high rate of speed while maintaining the design intent. Was unsuccessful in sourcing a plastic that allowed us to machine the orthotics while retaining the mechanical properties realized with the existing material and processes. Successfully worked directly with the Director of Research, VP of Engineering, and members of the manufacturing team to streamline and implement the new process. Worked on other design projects as needed. In addition, design, program, and machine prototypes as needed. Also, successful in troubleshooting the CNC Routers in the milling departments, both in production and engineering. Also work directly with the maintenance department to ensure they are running properly and order parts when necessary.

Successfully managed the Cost Reduction (PCTO) program across three Business Units with a 3.2 million dollar annual goal. Was successful in working as the liason between internal departments (engineering, purchasing, & quality) and Asian manufacturers to bring in lower cost options for the components. Successfully worked with Manitowoc engineering and the manufacturers in China to ensure component quality and reliability. Also, was involved in negotiations and performed Supplier Audits at many manufacturer's sites in China. Successfully implemented several major projects with manufacturers located in China. Successfully managed all machines and processes in Zone 2, which produced seat track parts for the Ford F-150. Successfully kept all DFMEA's and Control Charts up-to-date with any process changes that were made, such as adding poka yokes. Was successful in completing all 8D's required to solve issues for Zone 2. Successfully worked with Lean Engineer to streamline processes within Zone 2 to make each job more efficient and ergonomic.

Successfully introduced 2 new air compressor products to market. Traveled to and worked directly with the factory in China. Also, performed Supplier Audits and worked on component designs directly with those Suppliers. Successfully helped to develop the test lab.

Successfully programmed and machined a multitude of prototypes for the air compressor engineering group. Successfully worked with the Advanced R&D Department and the Product Engineers on all projects. Was successful in performing all product testing on air compressors that included testing for UL certification. Also, was successful in providing other prototypes for the generator, pressure washer, and air tool groups.

Successfully managed the production scheduling for 3 departments in a facility with a very high number of manufacturing processes. Was successful in overseeing the Overall Efficiency process and helped to maintain a 95 plus percent efficiency month after month.
