Team leader of the surfacing group at Redbull Tecnology . In charge of Surfacing of all of the aerodynamic components for the Chief Technical Officer and the Head of Aerodynamics.Responsible for the release of all Aerodynamic CAD data to the Design Office.During this role I have also been heavily involved in improving the CAD surface quality supplied to downstream activities including CFD & CAM.This has involved writing custom CAD checks for specific surface quality criteria.I have also written a large amount of custom code (NXOpen .Net) to streamline the new transfer process to CFD.

Aylesbury

Providing CAD and IT support for the design office. In this role I developed a custom training course targeted at increasing the amount of parametric modelling within the design department including sketches and expression driven features.I was involved in developing custom scripts in NXOpen (VB.Net) to help with the lack of PLM system.I carried out NX upgrades and supported the design office file server and NX license server.I was also involved in hardware upgrades, fault finding and maintenance.

I intially joined JCB as part of their under graduate sponsorship programe and spent a year out in the Loadall Division spending time in the Marketing, Purchasing Manufacturing and Design departments.I joined the Compact products department after graduating, working on the Current Product side of the design team. This included supporting warranty issues and design optimisation for manufacturing and assembly as well as cost optimisation excercises on products.I then moved onto new prodcut design where I was involved with the 808 crawler excavator and the 801 face lift.While in these roles I developed my CAD skills and gained experience in modelling more complex components including boywork panels, engine covers and counterweight castings. This helped me develop my surfacing skills and involved a high level of interaction with the company stylists.While at JCB I was also heavily involved in the Teamcenter pilot programe and was a member of the company CAD steering group (CADET).
