Responsible for the desktop and remote support of Group zed's Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto offices including all users, servers and networking hardware. Also provides support and administration of Group zed's external customer Amazon Web Services cloud environments. Admin duties include management and support of:• AD, DHCP, DNS, VPN, FTP, Sharepoint, RemoteApp and Exchange 2010/365• MS Win7, Win8.1, Win10, Server 2008R2, Server 2012 and Server 2012R2 • Physical servers, printers, SAN storage and tape backup hardware• 3Comm/HP switches, Sonicwall firewall and WIFI AP networking hardware• Multi site VMWare vCenter server and virtual server configuration and deployments • Shoretel VOIP phone system and iOS/Android mobile devices• Trend Micro and Symantec EP antivirus and BackupExec software• Amazon Web Services cloud server configuration, maintenance and support including MS Server OS and SQL Server support for company and external customer environments• Basic SQL and Windows/Powershell scripting • Vendor hardware ordering and warranty processing for Canadian offices• Zendesk ticket queue managerCompleted projects:• Redevelopment of VMWare ESXi server infrastructure & vSphere environment• Implementation of Microsoft WDS + MDT imaging/deployment server • Implementation of CentOS7 Nagios + Check_MK monitoring server• Installation of new Vancouver networking hardware and cut over to new Internet and Domain
