I later welcomed the opportunity to set-up from scratch a global event program, supporting both the Sales and Marketing departments, and the global network of Amalgam Agents. The event program proved to be a great success, showcasing products around the world. Creating brand awareness and an increase in direct and online sales.At the start of the global pandemic, which initially impacted the Amalgam facility in China in Jan ’20, I adapted my role to move internally. Whilst many of the office staff worked from home, I took an overview of the Bristol operation to manage day to day issues and a variety of specific projects focused on different aspects of the business each with a different objective; increase revenue, reduce waste, improve efficiency.As the Amalgam continues to grow my internal role has evolved further to provide technical support to both the global Sales team and UK Logistics with worldwide distribution.
