I have over ten years of policy and planning experience with various regional and territorial authorities. My work has primarily been in the area of resource management and it has allowed me to gain great experience in policy formation, analysis and implementation. I have presented much of this work to councillors and senior managers. I have extensive broad-based infrastructure and planning knowledge developed from many years of academic study and work experience with both regional and district councils, Watercare Services Ltd, and Opus International Consultants. My knowledge covers diverse areas such as environmental and macro-economics, social policy development, Central Government processes, the Treaty of Waitangi, as well as strategic, and business management and planning law.I am a Senior Policy Planner at Watercare , where I coordinate submissions and feedback to central and local goverment policy and law initiatives in relation to urban growth, energy use, and water resources. Also nvolved in Auckland, and Waikato, water quality/quantity issues/challenges, including Healthy Rivers Plan Change, and implementation of NPS: Freshwater Management. Working on climate change issues in relation to potential consequences and opportunties for the Auckland region in relation to drinking water supply, and wastewater treatment.
