Mark has a long track record helping clients meet strategic objectives. He has delivered many value creating products, programmes and projects within global organisations including BP, Unilever, Shell, Pioneer Electronics, Exxon, Chevron, BBraun McGaw, BG, Schindler Lifts, Phillips Petroleum, THQ, British Gas, Oklahoma Gas and Electric and for some financial services firms. His recent experience includes managing digital delivery for major engineering capital projects (Carbon Capture and Storage, offshore wind and conventional hydrocarbons), product management for oil and gas well optimisation, divestments, programme management for a global pricing improvements programme, and a strategic global business transformation for oil and gas operations. He has worked in many roles and industries in the UK, North America, Europe and India, robustly and consistently achieving the business objectives in the roles he has undertaken. He has wide experience of different business environments, with an understanding of the digital economy, digital technologies, key business strategies, business processes, organisational structures, regulatory pressures, decarbonisation and information asset objectives. Mark has had a long-running professional interest in the various aspects of the energy transition. He has a passion in playing a part in solving these challenges. He was active in the thought leadership in the Wipro decarbonisation community, has read widely on many aspects of decarbonisation, helping in the journey towards Net Zero. For the last two years he has worked in offshore wind and carbon capture and storage projects (CCS).To reinforce and update his business skills, he has deepened his education throughout his career, gaining a certificate in production and inventory management, the PMP (Project Manager Professional), MSP (Managing Successful Programmes), an MBA in oil and gas management, Digital Next, Shell IACS Process Control Domain (PCD) Cybersecurity Foundation, and is a Shell IT Technical Authority.
