Promoted senior position with very broad scope and considerable responsibilities:- Writing, Implementation & Management of the 16,000 word Viaro Energy (parent company) Strategy Document. This included areas such as: macro / internal / strategic group analysis, selection of strategic intent and the generation of actions.- Asset Manager/Development Lead & OCM Rep for Anning & Somerville; a £600m+ greenfield gas development (overseeing all internal teams maturing economics, commercial, operations, contracts).- Management of the $400m+ surety bond capacity including securing & increasing of capacity to support renewal or M&A.- Sole responsibility for management of all company Insurances representing an insured value of over $2.5 Billion.- Risk Assessment & Management Element Owner for the organisation. - Undertake Strategic & Operational assessments of opportunities as part of the Business Development plan.- Part of team with responsibility for raising finance to support BD opportunities as required.

Responsible for a multitude of functions across business development, financing and strategic areas.The most significant of which was being the Project Manager for completion & integration of the SSE E&P U.K assets, including negotiation of terms and facilitating completion. This deal represented a gain in value of some $500m and more than doubled group production.

In the position of Offshore Installation Manager on the Brae Bravo platform.The OIM represents the most senior role on the platform and is responsible for the safe and efficient execution of all activities on both the platform as well as any taking place within the 500m zone. In particular I oversaw the decommissioning project as the platform worked through Make Safe, Hydrocarbon Free, Disembarkation and up to the final Departure of the platform providing me with significant experience of the decommissioning project and process.

OIM Competency Gained - July '16, Covering the OIM position on Brae Bravo as required.One of the primary functions of the Platform Superintendent is to ensure effective and open collaboration, communication and interdepartmental facilitation to provide an independent, integrated and aligned working environment.The Platform Superintendent position is key in being aware of 'the big picture', determining the platform priorities based on this information and breaking it down to a departmental level to ensure all teams are working cohesively and towards the same goal/outcome. The PS role on the Brae Bravo has a responsibility for the facilitation and completion of the plug & lubrication/plug & abandonment project to ensure plan and budget attainment as per the AFEs.

Head of platform planning & maintenance departments including: Instrument, HVAC, Electrical & Mechanical trades, reporting directly to the OIM.MTL is the focal point for all platform planning; where all information is recieved with regards to: Manning, Materials, Operational requirements and Platform Priorities; developing a plan to best serve the platform/field's needs. Taking a high level overview of quarterly maintenance plans and developing them into an efficient & fully functioning trade specific weekly/daily plan.Ensuring day to day activities are carried out efficiently and safely, supporting personnel as required as well as driving performance and maximising the productivity of available resources. HR also plays a large part of the MTL role by developing personnel through: triply meetings, performance development plans and effective management tailored to that individual's requirements. Where required I have also successfully taken non-performing individuals through the accountability matrix and performance management to ensure all personnel are meeting the required expections on: safety, competency and contribution.

(1st week offshore is Acting P&M, then my 2nd week offshore is MTL).The position of Planning & Maintenance Supervisor was the platform focal point for the planning of current and future work - taking a high level outlook at weekly, monthly and quarterly plans for maintenance/remedial work as well as factoring in any key activities which may be required. This is where all information is recieved with regards to: Manning, Materials, Operational requirements and Platform Priorities and a plan is then put together to best serve the platform/fields needs.

Carrying out both emergent breakdown work activites as well as planned maintenance tasks as part of the platform frontline core team. Experience with: metering, turbines, compression, valves, smart instruments, high pressure systems, ESD systems/testing, fire and gas, vendor support, level, pressure and temperature instruments.Reporting directly to Maintenance Team Leader. (I stood in as Acting MTL from approx. 1st Jan 2013).
