I am an international insolvency and restructuring lawyer and Immediate Past Chair of the American College of Bankruptcy. My experience spans more than 40 years and includes all areas of US and cross-border financial restructuring, reorganization and bankruptcy. I represent distressed companies, fiduciaries, secured and unsecured creditors and other stakeholders, and purchasers of troubled companies and their assets, both in and out of bankruptcy court. I have been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America since 1993, Chambers Global and USA since 2003, and the Legal 500 since 2009. I remain very active in the bankruptcy community, and have held a number of notable positions including Chair of the American College of Bankruptcy Foundation, Director of the International Insolvency Institute, and member of the Editorial Boards of INSOL World and the International Insolvency Review. I have fulfilled multiple speaking engagements for the College, INSOL, the New York State Bar Association International Section and other organizations, and lectured at the Harvard Business School.
