This role sits within Property and is part of the H&S Wellbeing and Estate Services team. The primary purpose is to develop and implement the strategy to meet all internal and external requirements for the maintenance of all United Utilities site buildings and grounds. Delivery will be managed through a mixture of large internal teams and key external providers & suppliers. Key considerations include-• the health and safety of all stakeholders, • meeting all legislative or regulatory requirements, • the engagement of all building and site users, • the impact on UU’s customers (including the influence on CMEX) and • the safeguarding of all operational processes that UU operate. The role will need to keep pace with any relevant external or internal changes and market developments and should continually look at improving the standards across the UU estate. Prioritisation of spend will be essential, driving efficiency to deliver the greatest value for money.
