I returned to Musgrave for a short term contract role that involved negotiating with some of their ambient suppliers which has driven £150k savings based on supply chain efficiencies.I was also responsible for scoping their approach to the Musgrave Network of the future which is a current project.I was also responsible for managing a customer forum with Budgens Retailers/owners which I found thoroughly enjoyable. I was responsible for the development of the Britannia Salads customer portfolio which has put the company in a position to deal direct with customers rather than via agents.I also developed the Marketing of Britannia Salads by developing their website in order to provide a virtual catalogue of their great products and services.

I worked at Musgrave and was responsible for developing the project approach and implementation planning for a number of Business Improvement plans such as key supplier warehouse centralisation such as Allied Bread, Frozen Foods, Bonds Confectionery & Fatherson Bakery.I was also working on a warehouse & transport optimisation project which will enable the business to stock & send any product to any store location, from any Musgrave warehouse (Previously impossible).In addition to this, I successfully completed a project that was all about reducing the product range count in Londis & Budgens stores (Musgrave customers).

I was responsible for the availability of all the Food components to build the various Greene King menus of which there are many!I was also responsible for the control of the 3rd party operator (Bidvest) on a day to day basis.This is the first role I have undertaken that had a real customer service element to the role. I had a person working for me who was the front line for customer service escalations regarding Food availability & Bidvest delivery issues.

I was responsible for $50m worth of spares & Customer Print Consumables in the Belgium based warehouse, the daily service level for these items and ensuring I had enough stock for new product launches & refurbishments.I also had a team of Spares & Consumable's Planners reporting in to me.

I was responsible for a number of Stock Control Managers and managed areas such as Produce, Grocery, Electrical, Seaonal & Textiles. I was also a GNFR (Goods Not For Re-Sale) Buyer where I bought equipment to build and update the Tesco store portfolio in the UK and across Europe.
