- Manage on-site project team consisting of millwrights.- Meet with clients to evaluate projects.- Prepare estimates including design time, material cost and installation labour.- Schedule upcoming workload and timeline to customer’s needs. - Design mechanical components using Autodesk Inventor.- Produce, review and approve shop drawings with specifications needed for machining and fabrication.- Outsource manufacturing operations when needed.- Prepare list of materials needed for projects or repairs.- Supervise and inspect manufacturing and installations.- Complete, document and sign off work orders.- Lean manufacturing project lead.

- Supervisor for the Automation dept.(Dieppe) and the Mold & Die dept.(Richibucto).- Coordinate tasks and drawings with machinists, millwrights and fabricators.- Plan workflow to meet deadlines- Assist training machinists on CNC programming.- Source and purchase parts/components for projects.- Receive parts and documents in CMMS software.- Enter and approve employee time and vacations with ADP software. - Assist engineers with machine design.- Update design engineers on changes occurred during fabrication.- Input and sustain bill of material for projects.- Take on assigned special projects for continuous improvements.- Responsible for maintaining adequate shop supplies and materials.- Promote health and safety through weekly safety talks and safe work practice.- Apply lean principles and motivate team to pursue continuous improvements in day to day activities.

- Purchasing of raw materials for manufacturing (steel, aluminum, stainless, plastics, bronze, etc.).- Parts sourcing for various repairs (hydraulic, air, electrical).- Purchasing of shop and safety supplies for repair shop and paint shop.- Contact various vendors (600+) for pricing and delivery.- Inventory control and managing.- Follow up on orders for delivery dates and shipping. - Receive and close all purchase orders.- Ensure all purchased goods and freight are charged out to proper work orders.- Control of material certification reports.- Estimate price and delivery on various machined or fabricated parts according to customer specifications.- Document manufactured parts using CAD software for future reference.- Mechanical design and toolmaker advisor for customers and internal manufacturing processes.- Cutting tool vending machine controller.- Create sales and/or purchasing reports as requested.
