I've been involved in a range of projects in a variety of roles in New Product Development. I was a Principle Designer for the Custom Cab Group, specializing in sheet metal design on the Arrow XT product model. My primary duty was to turn customer options into a CAD design in Catia V4. This included sheet metal, bar and tube, seats and restraints, and some structural weldments.Other duties included: - Analyzing customer options for intent, feasibility, and manufacturability. I was the lead designer on the rear bench seat and cab stowage subsystems on the UK Wheeled Tanker program from May until October, 2003.I was responsible for maintaining the pneumatic and hydraulic system Bills of Material on the FMTV Fleet of Vehicles from August 2001 until April, 2003.I worked in Catia V4.

My tenure at P&H Mining, now a division of Joy Global Mining, included two internships and an eight month long co-op.My first internship was primarily spent analyzing a dynamic analysis simulation of the lower crawler drive of an electric mining shovel, with the goal of correlating the simulation to real world data. I was recognized at the product launch ceremony as "Rookie of the Year" near the conclusion of the co-op.During my final internship, my primary duties involved a reorganization of the information on the engineering network drives, and analyzing the ventilation and filtration of the machinery house of an electric mining shovel.
