£800mThe Project Background - The Thames Tideway Tunnel (TTT)TTT also known as the super sewer is an under-construction 25 km (16 mi) tunnel running mostly under the tidal section of the River Thames through central London, as seen on the telly.The tunnel will capture, store and transfer almost all the combined raw sewage and rainwater discharges that currently overflow into the river. The super sewer is designed to replace the current London sewers which were built in 1850 for a population on 2 million not 9 million. The super sewer is designed to accommodate 20 million people. The construction of the super sewer has been divided in to 3 sections, East, Central and West.

Introduced new working procedures and implemented new systems after both departments were integrated to create the procurement department. With the introduction of the new systems and productivity targets and timetables the function of the department improved immensely. Responsible for ensuring productivity targets are reached. Liaising with the accounts department regarding commitments, Invoices,GRN’s and payment runs, ensuring timetables are adhered to, monitoring order process to ensure they comply with the joint venture cost structure, ensuring procurement procedures are being followed, training and developing specific staff in key roles within the department.
