First-year Law Clerk in the Corporate, Securities, and Government Investigation Practice Group

Civil Division, National Courts Section• Draft brief components and motions on issues including civil service competition complaints, trade disputes, and federal procurement protests.• Research legal issues and propose solutions for pending casework in the Court of Federal Claims, the Federal Circuit, and the Court of International Trade.• Analyze complaints from both pro se plaintiffs and private business contractors to protect the federal government’s interest and ensure efficient use of taxpayer funds.

• Works in the Consumer Products Practice Group on issues such as tax, recycling, and workforce protections.• Co-Manager of the firm's internship program.• Research and draft policy updates, issue papers, one pagers, and other collateral for distributionto clients, as well as Capitol Hill, the Administration, and other external audiences.• Provide coverage of hearings, third-party events, and monitor and track federal legislation andregulations.• Coordinate meetings on behalf of clients with federal policymakers, external stakeholders, andothers.• Support new business opportunities.
