As an experienced educator with over 15 years of expertise in teaching and coordinating programs in Computer Engineering, Technological Design, and Mathematics, I have cultivated a robust foundation in STEM education. My role as a high school teacher and VEX Robotics coordinator for the district has afforded me the opportunity to integrate experiential, hands-on learning methodologies through the use of robotics, programming, 3D printing, and computer-aided design (CAD). I am committed to creating an environment that encourages innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving in my students, helping them engage with real-world challenges using advanced technologies.Beyond my instructional responsibilities, I am actively engaged in community organizations, particularly with The Luke Cyr Foundation, where I advocate for mental health awareness and coordinate key events such as fundraising galas and digital outreach initiatives. My technical proficiency encompasses web development using WordPress as well as graphic design, both of which I utilize to enhance The Luke Cyr Foundation's online presence and to produce promotional materials that further the organization's mission.I am committed to lifelong learning and consistently seek to expand my expertise by exploring emerging technologies, particularly in the realm of small electronics, such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi, to augment my instructional practices. I am also continually working on my design skills, both graphic and 3D modeling using Fusion 360.
