Job Summary:Ensure that the highest standard of service and support be provided to our customers by providing field-based Technical service support on our full range of Diagnostic products.Responsibilities:Travel to and consistently provide highest level of customer service and support at all our customer sites.Proven technical ability to troubleshoot and repair complex instrumentation. Perform preventative services to improve instrument reliability.Ensure all service calls are handled in a timely manner and to the satisfaction of the customerBe available to travel at, as required, short notice locally, state-wide and interstate. Occasional international travel will also be required.Serve on an on-call roster to provide 24-hour, weekend and public holiday support to our customers both telephonically and on-site.Work as part of a diverse team and be willing to contribute to the wider team and organisational goals on continual basis.As we operate in a highly regulated environment, accurate and timely administration work is critical and mandatory. Time spent on administration work can account for up to 25% of work hours and it is important to have strong organisational skills to be compliant.Manning the Customer Support Centre to provide phone support and detailed troubleshooting to customers.Work closely with Regional Service Managers to ensure effective first-time fix ratesPrepare Customer Feedback (CF) reports duly signed by customers and submit to our Global CAPA programWork to ensure most cost-effective way to carry out repairs in the field to manage costsEnsure that the Company always achieves its customer satisfaction objectives. Report promptly to the Regional Service Manager of any circumstances where this is not occurringEnsure all spare parts are properly recorded, kept, and usedWork with the team and Regional Service Manager to ensure there is continual improvement in our processesAttend training as required in the role.
