I adapted to many different areas of the organization, taking on increased functions to meet the needs of our client, the Department of Defense. This included work performed on the development and engineering of next generation ULCANS (Ultra-Light Weight Camouflage Netting Systems) with strategic vendor management, internal and external plant trials, product manufacturing, and component testing in a laboratory setting. I also oversaw the Environmental, Health, and Safety permitting, safety assessments, OSHA requirements, risk mitigation, and comprehensive quality control activities across the business.

In this role, I led operations management functions for a large textile manufacturer with 800 employees, including budget development and administration, supervision of three process control staff members, and vendor relationships. My oversight was focused on streamlined materials usage to identify and minimize product waste, decrease production costs, and establish standard operating controls for all finishing procedures.
