Nature Design Studio Inc was born at the intersection of my passion and my calling. Let me briefly explain. In my late 20's, I discovered life's calling, which is to make the conservation of our freshwater environments my life's work. However, I never found a way to execute it. I have thought about being a NatGeo photographer, but it just wasn't compelling enough. I have been a passionate aquarium hobbyist for most of my life. Creating beautiful nature-environments/sceneries is what I live for and it is what I'm most proud of. It wasn't until I read a book called "Start with Why" by Simon Sinek, did the light bulb switch on in my head. The book talked about starting a business with a purpose, a reason for it to exist besides the monetary goal. I realized that through my creation and artistry, I can make a case for our precious and wondrous freshwater environments, which is irrevocably important to us and much of life on Earth, yet it's very much ignored by most of us. I resolutely believe that it would spark people's curiosity and appreciation for the environment and nature as a whole, when its beauty is correctly presented!
