Mark has over 20 years of experience in architecture and design. He obtained his Bachelor of Architectural Studies, Planning and Design from the University of Melbourne in Australia, and is a registered architect. He has an extensive portfolio that represents his experience in planning, detailing, coordinating and managing projects. Mark’s dynamic portfolio includes a range of notable work. He has recently been working as Project Lead on Sports SG, a consultancy project assisting Sports Singapore to develop a technical brief for a multipurpose arena in Kallang. Mark also has also been involved in the Jamsil Sports MICE Complex, responsible for the functional planning of the COEX facilities, exploring various configurations to achieve the best outcome. Prior to joining Populous, Mark was the project lead responsible for the interior fitout of Jewel Changi Airport, Singapore, an iconic 1.4 million ft² mixed-use development, designed to be a world class lifestyle destination in Singapore. Mark has contributed his expertise in varying scales of projects across the sports, aviation, residential, commercial, civic and healthcare sectors. Mark’s excellent communication, problem-solving and leadership skills, combined with his deep knowledge of construction and architectural codes, makes him a great asset to the Populous team.
