Responsible for meeting budgets, efficient and timely manufacturing of all core products, managing 27 employees over 3 shifts including all aspects of Health and Safety and maintenance of all plant machinery.Key Accountabilities:· Plan, co-ordinate and manage all site activities in a safe, efficient and effective manner· Manage the H&S aspects of the operation to meet and/or exceed legislative requirements and Company standards· Control and manage operating costs within all areas so that KPI targets are achieved or bettered. Report to business as required, weekly/monthly· Develop and Implement opportunities for cost reduction and minimisation of waste while adhering to Environmental Legislation· Oversee the management of all HR related activities; this includes sickness, absenteeism, lateness and discipline, ensuring that consistency is achieved

To oversee the systems that exist to monitor and control the Compliance to Legislation, Internal Policies as well as being the focal point to both internal and external audits and proactive SHE improvement activities. To be able to challenge Operational Management to maintain high standards, champion innovation and solutions to issues, promote positive culture and safety working practices and deliver IMS to prove compliance. To share best practice from other parts of the business or external forums to drive continuous improvement.
