Logistics Manager Manage a team of fourteen logisticians. Maintain required training, annual performance reviews and timesheets. Create and calculate logistical forecast planning with the target to have the right inventories at the right time, in the right quantity, in the right quality available and ensure a smooth material capacity planning at supplier (basis integration forecast planning, consumption and future requirements) Create and maintain material master data in company share pointe site, permanently reviews all set parameters related to safety stocks, rounding values and minimum lot sizes Check and control stock requirements and initiate necessary steps to meet customer demands Ensure 100% material availability, special priority setting on fast moving parts Manage customer integration requirements in order to meet 100% On Time Delivery Management of total cost transportation by usage of defined carriers, collection of deliveries and avoidance of premium freight Observe the distribution from commercial vendors through distribution warehouse, into the hands of integration personnel. Contact supplier to verify shipment details, examine vendor documents and delays Contact vendor in case of schedule line deviation Establish escalation process in case of critical vendor backlogs in cooperation with Sourcing and Corporate Purchasing Department Coordinate with managers, leads, special prototype teams, etc. about order status, changes or cancellations in case of customer backlogs Supplier fill rate tracking and analysis, implementation of supplier coaching in case of fill rate deviations (conference calls, meetings), reporting to team leaders on weekly basis Inventory controlling and permanently review under consideration of material costs, storage costs and future demand, define activities to minimize overstock
