In this role, I am responsible for implementing and overseeing the Icon Group's enterprise risk activities. This includes leading the design and implementation of an Enterprise Risk Management system for the Group. This system enables the aggregation and comprehensive understanding of risk exposure across the organisation, aiming to eliminate surprises and mitigate potential reputational damage. Additionally my role also overseas the Group's annual insurance program as well as ensuring insurance gaps are identified and any issues/claims are properly managed.

Reporting directly to the National General Manager – Construction, I was responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving the monthly project cost report for the Construction Division. I worked closely with state construction executives, offering advice and guidance on report preparation and standardising project reporting across the division.I conducted onsite reviews of construction projects to gain detailed insights into project performance, and collaborated with senior construction managers to establish, maintain, and review the national construction risk and opportunity schedule. This facilitated a clear understanding of risks and opportunities, ensuring profit management with zero surprises. As an active member of the Construction Executive Team, I played a key role in establishing strategies, policies, and procedures for the division. Additionally, I provided training and support to new and existing staff regarding reporting requirements, including upgrades and modifications to the cost reporting systems.
