As a Repairable Specialist I manage the refurbishment process for mobile equipment components to apply standard repair, maintain quality, safety, timeliness and costs.Key responsibilities• Partner with Vendors through the repairable process to ensure that the work meets required standards, repair time frames that are cost effective;• Identify opportunities for improvement through fault finding and root cause analysis of repairable components; and• Work with the Supply and site-based teams to optimize the company’s repair stock and negotiate warranties.Achievements• Improve the overall reliability and availability of BHP owned repairable components.• Optimize repair standards, time frames and engage with key stakeholders to meet planned usage requirements.• Accountable to facilitate warranty claims with vendors to meet an agreed outcome and improve the repair processes to reduce repeat failures.
