I am an experienced NHS financial manager, who has worked both in and with NHS organisations to help better understand and improve their financial situations. Having qualified as an accountant via the NHS Financial Management Training scheme, I spent nine years in various senior finance positions at several NHS acute Trusts across the NW of England, before helping establish the Healthcare Advisory Team at BDO, where I felt my skills and interests would be better utilised. After nearly ten years with BDO, a desire to reconnect with my local roots led me to the Healthcare Team within PA Consulting, before recently seeking a new challenge back within the NHS family where my skills and experience can continue to be utilised to help support and drive financial change and improvement across the NHS, at organisation, place and system levels.
