Work Health And Safety Compliance Support Officer - Fleet

- Work collaboratively within the Fleet Branch to deliver a holistic work health and safety service, ensuring compliance, consistency and continuous improvement throughout the Branch, in all matters relating to safety.- Facilitate the review and maintenance of safety procedures, risk assessments in line with Regulations, Legislation, Australian Standards, Code of Practices and the like. - Develop and document, in consultation with appropriate subject matter experts, relevant Fleet procedures, risk assessments and standards, for the use of Fleet employees or other internal customers.- Audit Fleet procedures and operations for compliance in accordance with a risk-based schedule.- Participate in Fleet external safety audits such as the National Self Insurer Audit and NHVAS.- Audit Fleet TSA compliance tasks and chemicals compliance (Chemwatch)- Encourage a safety and compliance culture across all Gold Coast Fleet depots.Competencies:Analytical and Critical Thinking; Communication; Document Management and Control; Systems and Processes; Technology and Software; Stakeholder Engagement and Management
