Process engineering roles in Sensata were varied from carrying out daily task to working along with a team of engineers on project work. Due to the large verity of jobs I had several responsibility’s which had to be compete on time such as the following:• To assist in providing technical support as required for shift.• To continuously work towards improved production efficiencies for example downtime reduction, scrap reduction and first time through improvements.• To undertake re-occurrence prevention steps as problems, arise e.g. analysis and root causing of problems and provision of solution as and when the need arises.• To liaise with all relevant personnel for smooth new product introduction and assist with process development where required.• To undertake continuous improvement activities through Lean Manufacturing initiatives.• To provide relevant personnel with daily comprehensive shift technical reports and communicate all other key issues as necessary.• Contribute to the overall team/departmental strategy.• Keep abreast of the latest innovations and developments.• Ensure compliance always with company and statutory requirements.• Participate in the day-to-day activities of the team and work effectively as a team member to ensure continuous improvement.• Meet performance measures and KPI’s set for you and your team.• Communicate in a timely and effective manner with members of your team and other parts of the business.
