I lead a team within BBC Children's & Education responsible for YouTube output.

Managing careers of leading YouTube creators and related media projects. Film projects include music documentaries and factual entertainment projects.

Set-up the social talent division within UK talent management group James Grant Media. Built a roster of elite YouTube creators, digital influencers, and social talent, built an internal team, and trained the group on the new digital ecosystem.

I joined VC backed start-up Base79. A multi-channel network on YouTube operating thousands of YouTube channels from owned and operated brand managed serviced and content clients, and individual YouTube creators.

Headed up marketing and video services for global music and video distributor, The Orchard. I oversaw digital marketing campaigns for a diverse roster of labels and music artists and worked as part of an internal group to launch the company's multi-channel online video network on YouTube, leading that department internationally.

I was a digital manager within the Universal Music international division. I was responsible for looking at new technologies such as peer-to-peer file-sharing services, blogs, and other emerging sites and platforms online. I was responsible for both protecting company copyrights on these emerging platforms as well as helping understand how to use them proactively for promotional and commercial opportunities. I was also responsible for working with all local international offices to provide presentations and training on peer to peer file sharing and how we should be responding to it. I was also responsible for liaising with our international trade body, IFPI, who worked closely with us on these emerging digital platforms.

Upon finishing University and an internship at the British Phonographic Industry, I was offered my first full-time position in the media industry working for the music industry global trade body, IFPI. My job was investigating and understanding new digital platforms making music available online such as peer-to-peer networks, blogs, YouTube and file hosting sites, amongst many others.
