Responsible for deal execution with underwriters, lawyers and accountants and managed internal administration and operations in support of the company’s term ABS programs. Active in investor development, rating agency presentations and servicing due diligence.Established and managed Sallie Mae's asset-backed commercial paper (ABCP) programs for government guaranteed and private credit loan programs securing $30 billion in funding from 8 Multi-Seller ABCP Conduits in 2008 up from an initial $4 billion ABCP Program in 2003.Negotiated and executed interest rate and foreign currency derivatives related to issuance of government guaranteed and private credit ABS.Developed and updated reporting and forecasting of liquidity and funding needs for financing the company's student loan origination, consolidation and refinancing portfolios.Integrated, managed and refinanced the secured debt programs and related funding operations for 7 student loan companies acquired by Sallie Mae. Responsible for achieving targeted cost savings, operational efficiencies and refinancing objectives.Integrally involved in the strategic planning and operational execution related to the wind-down of Sallie Mae’s GSE status from 2001 to the successful wind-down in 2004.
