Prior to my holding this position there was no market research function at this firm. I accomplished several key initiatives in this position:- Created a quarterly report which tracked sales performance and market share by region- Created analysis showing which warehouse locations were underperforming, and estimating the value of the revenue gap- Developed a product introduction and promotion program for the French Quarter and Gold Rush series. Sales reached their equilibrium level in half the time of any previous product launch.- Created an internal enhanced lead program whereby corporate staff acquired contact information on key subcontractors at the time they were making their purchase decision on mid-sized construction projects, then feeding that information directly to the sales team with follow-up and accountability systems. Dal-Tile market share in this segment doubled.
