At GovCIO, Department of Veteran Affairs, I served as Senior Network Architect and supervised network and security engineer for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of VA's Trusted Internet Connection (TIC) Gateways.I conducted in-depth analysis of network and security architecture of the VA's TIC Gateways, while providing customer with practical recommendations for improvement.I provided exceptional support in deployment of F5 DNS and F5 Inbound Proxy Load Balancers throughout company. It is worth mentioning that I developed Enterprise Edge solutions to serve external users, including inbound/outbound web services, DNS, email, and enterprise hosted systems like IBM and BigFix.I performed network performance tuning with several protocols and operating systems to optimize network performance and provide recommendations and guidance to customer.I steered expertise in providing technical support for VA's remote access solutions, including Citrix Access Gateway, Cisco AnyConnect by utilizing Dynamic Access Policies (DAP), LDAP characteristics, and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).Moreover, I administered data center visits, encompassing logistics planning, documentation, equipment integration, and coordination with additional teams to support.My accomplishments within this role are following:• Introduced and implemented new cloud services for VA Enterprise, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Office 365, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.• Successfully migrated all F5 traffic, including DNS and Load-Balanced Web traffic to a new design on hardware with no impact to client operations.• Delivered optimum services in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting new/existing site-to-site VPN, Lan Extension, Business Partner Gateway (BPG), and Business Partner Extranet (BPE) connections for external customers and partners.
