About Mark Davies
I have worked in education since 2002, starting in secondary education as a secondary school geography teacher. I gained my Fully Qualified Teacher Status within a couple of years after which I moved into working with SEN pupils, ranging from year 2 pupils to mature studentrs. I have recently gained my Approved Teacher Status (ATS) through the British Dyslexia Association (BDA) and PGCert in Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), which specialises in screening and teaching pupils with dyslexic.In my outdoor work I have worked for various outdoor centres in England and Wales.I now work exclusively as a freelance coach and on a volunatary basis for Manchester Canoe Club & Canoe England.Specialties: Approved Teacher Status, British Dyslexia Association.UKCC Level 1 & 2 course tutorBCU Level 3 coach in sea, inland WW kayak & canoe coachBCU Level 2 coach slalom coachAquatic First Aid Level 1 & 2 providerFoundation Safety & Rescue provider3* WW Kayak and Canoe trainer and assessor
