Adare is a leading marketing communications company with 8 UK sites and a number of European locations. The Company employees approximately 800 staff and has an annual turnover in the region of £150 million.• Responsible for the day to day management of the Warehouse operation of 30,000 sq ft with a team of up to 12 staff. My responsibilities included the servicing of seven major blue-chip clients, with varying service level agreements that consist of an average number of daily orders of 150 with average lines of 6 per order.• Responsible for the stock management of the Warehouse, with approximately 1200 pallets. This involves returns and collections, stock cycle counting, quarantining and version control of products.• I have been instrumental in introducing new processes to improve accuracy and productivity with the warehouse. Most recently, I have been involved in the development of European distributions.• Use of inventory online system and other Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word and Excel.• Management of the staff including recruitment, appraisals, development, discipline and attendance management.• Health and Safety management within the Warehouse.• As the site Facilities Manager, I am responsible for the maintenance of the entire site.
