As Project Director - Architecture for HNTB, I lead pursuits, and design for major aviation, sports, transit or government focused projects. With more than 30 years of experience in the architecture and construction industries, I have worked on a wide variety of projects using traditional design-bid-build, construction manager at risk and design-build delivery processes. I spent a decade leading a 40-member federal project team and its $500 million project portfolio, always focused on integrating services to benefits clients.I have worked on aviation, governmental, civil and sports projects across the country. My experience also includes providing municipal, state and federal agencies with a wealth of design-build instruction and documentation, from on-site training to RFPs and RFQs on contractor-led projects.I am a registered architect in Missouri and Texas, a LEED-accredited professional and designated as a design-build professional by the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA). I earned a bachelor’s degrees in architecture and environmental design from the University of Kansas. I am a certified DBIA instructor for the DBIA Certification Professional training classes.
