Working jointly with the multichannel transformation programme (MCTP) & HR Canada, the Communication Specialist will use their functional expertise in the support of co-worker communication.With MCTP, the Communication Specialist will work with the project team to understand their objectives and communication needs. - Coach and support stores and functions in communication including change management communication connected to multichannel.- Contribute to the creation of and execute communication plans based on existing strategies and business needs. - Create materials and execute communication activities: write and package messages into relevant, simple and inspiring communication.- Create and publish content using a variety of media, including articles, presentations, newsletters, social media posts etc. - Manage and support projects including production of communication materials and films.- Lead by example, sharing competence to grow the overall knowledge and skills of the multichannel team and business partners.- Create/contribute to an environment of trust by encouraging open, constructive, honest, two-way feedback with the team and other colleagues.- Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as they occurWith HR Canada, the role of the Communication Specialist will partner with HR professionals to understand their objectives and communication needs. - Coordinate, design and produce content for existing and emerging channels including emails, intranet, internal news articles, social media, presentations or infographics and you will serve as project manager for all deliverables. - Actively seek out new and improved means of developing effective and engaging internal employee communication channels. - Provide our leaders with information to help them communicate effectively throughout the organisation. - Measure effectiveness of communication efforts, actively review results and proactively suggest adjustments to improve effectiveness.
